Stir-Fried Four Angled Bean

My man loves this dish. I was not interest to cook it until I found that he loves this. :lol:
Sometimes, when I want to make the cooking time as short as possible, then I will boil the four-angled bean before stir-fry. So that I do not have to spend more time to stir-fry until it cooked.

Ingredients :
Four Angled Bean (Winged bean)
Oyster Sauce
Garlic
Salt

Cheap vegetables could be very tasty if you cook with matching ingredients. haha…Potato leaf is selling cheap everywhere, two packs of potato leafs that enough for 3 - 4 person is selling below $3.00. Isn’t that cheap? :p

Stir-fried Broccoli Cauliflower With Prawn

Another vegetables that I often cook on festival day. Stir-fried cauliflower, Broccoli with prawn.

Ingredients :

Broccoli
Cauliflower
Carrot
Medium or small size prawn
Ginger
Garlic
Osyter Sauce
Corn Powder

Clean the prawn, slice carrot and ginger.

Boiled Eggplants

Simple dish that does not need good cooking skill. Everyone can make it. The eggplants taste very sweet without added sugar. Whole processing only need 10 mins time.

Ingredients :
Eggplants
Saute Onion With Oil
Oyster sauce
Plain Water

Cut eggplants into half and boil with plain water.

Boiled until the eggplants cook. About 5 - 10 mins.

Saute Onion with oil until it’s turn brownie or crispy.

Cooked eggplants.

Peel the eggplant slowly.

Separate the half eggplants into small pieces and add some oyster sauce or soy sauce at top.

Then, topping with saute onion with oil.

Japanese Cucumber Stir Fry With Prawn

Besides using the Japanese Green Cucumber for this dish, sometimes I would use the yellow big cucumber as well. of course the texture was not as good as the green cucumber. But still taste very nice and easy to buy. I personally like the small green cucumber, because i like to chew. :lol:

Ingredients :
Japanese Green Cucumber / cucumber
Medium size Prawn / meat
soy sauce
Oyster Sauce
Onion
Corn powder
oil

Mixed Vegetable With Chicken Liver

My mother loves to cook this dish almost every Chinese festival. I always enjoy this dish on the day we have to pray with steamed chicken. Not sure is because of not much vegetables to select on those “big” day or Cauliflower is the most easy to keep vegetables. We always have cauliflower stir-fry with chicken liver.

Black Pepper Meat With Lettuce

Ingredients :
Lettuce
Slice Meat
Garlic
Black Pepper
Salt
Oyster Sauce

Another simple dish I randomly cook..It really a random dish..:lol:

The steamed meat used for BaiBai (pray) one…I just marinated with black pepper, oyster sauce & salt then cook with the letture. Usually i like to cook the salted meat with porridge. But dinner shouldn’t eat porridge only, right? so decided to cook with lettuce.

Meat (Chop Well)
Spring Onion
Dried Prawn (Chop Well)

Salt
