Pan Mian Skin Dumpling

Ingredients :

Mackerel
Meat
Corn Powder
Oyster Sauce
Soy Sauce
Spring Onion
Sweet Turnips
Chinese Chives
Cabbage
Homemade Dumpling Skin

1st ~ Mixed meat with fish..and marinated with corn powder, oyster sauce & soy sauce.

2nd ~ Spring onion, sweet turnips, chinese chives & cabbage chop well

3rd ~ mixing all with meat

4th ~ flat the dumpling skin and cut into the shape u wan…I’m just simply cut..very ugly shape I have..:oops:

5th ~ fill the meat in medium of the dumpling skin & rap it nicely..

6th ~ see..I make some ‘pillow’ style dumpling…:lol:

7th ~ and…others very ugly dumpling…:lol:

8th ~ boil the water and cook dumpling for 5-8 mins ..until it cooked..

Add in ikan bilis soup once it cooked..of coz u can add fried onion oil and consuming together with vegetables..

This homemade dumpling very different with the wantan skin we brought outside..coz it more chewy…I love it…u can just imagine the taste is pan mee noodle wrapping meat..hehe…yummy..

Noodle/Pasta Dough

Ingredients :

Flour
Cold Water
Egg (Optional)
A little bit Oil (Optional)

1st ~ Dig a hole in the flour..more easy to cover the egg / water / oil..
Don’t pour too many of water 1st..Its can add later..

starting to mixing all ingredients..

Add more water if the dough too dry..

continue to kneading the dough..

Until its doesn’t sticky..

Portion the dough into the amounts you will need to make noodle & flattening it..

there u can use it to make Hakka Pan Mian or use it as a wantan skin & etc…

Random Fried Rice

Ingredients

Rice
Cabbage
Onion
Egg
Luncheong Meat
Dark Soy Sauce
Soy Sauce
Pepper

1st ~ Cut luncheong meat into small cube & fried til crispy. & put aside..

U will enjoy this add in luncheong meat..Its taste great with fried rice..

2nd ~  stir fried with onion with oil..

3rd ~ stir fried egg..I like to add in soy sauce into raw egg..
make it more tasty.. then stir-fried til it cook..

4th ~ then add in cabbage (cut into slice or wat shape u like)

5th ~ If u like abit raw veges then u can add in rice together with cabbage..
I doesn;t like soft  soft wan vege..so I addin early…:lol: ..stir-fried & mixed all ingredients.

6th ~ Add in dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce & pepper..
If you like spice..then u better add more pepper…I add many ohh..

7th ~ Add in fried luncheong meat before serves only.

This was my lunch on Sunday! Lazy to dinning out & found not much to ingredients at home..only Cans meat I have..so mai have a quick fried rice lor..

‘Pocket’ Egg with Rice

Ingredients :

Egg
Rice
Oil
Black Soy Sauce
Soy Sauce

I think this will be the most easier recipe to serves with plain rice..:lol:

I started to feed myself with this recipe when I’m standard 4..and its just a supper for me..sometimes fried 2 eggs and enjoy with my BIG bowl plate of rice…

The next morning, my mother sure will scored me gao gao..y finished all her leftover rice..:oops:

And tat is reason I’m fat like balloon in primary & secondary school…haii…sometimes I do think tat girls shouldn’t learn to cook too early…

I think no need to give step by step lor..so easy mah..do it urself! Just remember to add black soy sauce & soy sauce b4 off the gas.

Homemade Chow Keuy Teow

Ingredients :

Mee (Noodle)
Keuy Teow
Chinese Chives
Beansprouts
Fish Cake
Oyster Sauce
Soya Sauce
Dark Soy Sauce
Garlic
Chillies paste

1st - Fish cake cut into slice & ready mee & kuey Teow

I doesn’t like to stir-fry inbig portion (actually is hard to stir-fry lah..:p) ..each time ready for 2 - 3 person is much more easy ler..and taste will be good too..hehe..coz easy to control lah..

2nd - garlic chop well

3rd - Chinese Chives cut into 2 Inch long..
4th - Soy sauce + Dark Soy Sauce + Oyster Sauce + water mixed well

5th - I’m lazy to clean beansprouts, so I just wash with water & put aside..

6th - stir-fry garlic & fish cakes for a mins..

7th - add in mee & kuey teow, then add in mixed sauce & stir-fry

8th - U can add more plain water to avoid mee stick to wok..
then add in chilies paste & stir well..

9th - add in beansprouts & chinese chives & continue stir-fry
(Note : if you don’t like raw beansprouts, add it b4 mee - step 6)

10th - stir-fry til all mixed well…

Is ready to serves!

I doens’t add egg into homemade Chow Keuy Teow , coz i like it more juicy mah..and it really big different taste from outside wan ohh…hehe…

Optional ingredients, coz this 2 very troublesome to prepare lah..but without it really unlike chow keuy teow liao ahh…haha

Porridge

I was sick for 2 weeks oledi..no mood to eat oso..don even say cook lah..so no update on my recipe lor..

After 2 weeks of tasteless food, I kenot stand for plain porridge anymore ..so have this MIXED porridge for myself…:lol:

Salted Egg, Century Egg & 豆鼓鲮鱼 (don-no-wat-it call in english :p)

All mix in porridge..wow…suddenly felt tat eat porridge only oso not bad wat…:lol:

Korea Instant Mee

Bored with local instand mee..:))..so try this instand mee from Korea ..cost RM2.20 per bag..expensive but quite a big portion ..1 bag equal to 2 bags maggie mee . There is a similar packing in the market which is call Shin Tamyun oso…The different r …the chinese word! Shin (Spice) r more tasty..the wan with Shin (New) r taste less…

See…this was how I prepared the instant mee for fatty…hehe…enjoy a instand mee once a while is acceptable lah..expecially when lazy bugs attacked..:))

Hakka Pan Mee (Flat Flour Noodle Soup)

This is very popular at Seri Kembangan…and I’m hakka..sure I know how to make it..1st ~ Noodle made by tepung gandum + egg + water + oil (to save time..lazy bugs attacked skip this step..I used ready to serves noodle....very cheap mah…about RM5 for 1 kg only…)

2nd ~ cook anchovies soup with dai tou choi, add shu cai choi (don’t know wat this call in english)

Get ready the topping..which u can’t enjoy much at stall…
~ Chili padi with soy sauce,
~ chop pork meat with moi choy
~ Sambal belacan
~ Chop garlic
~ Fried onion & oil
~ Fried dry shrimp
~ Fried anchovies
~ Black Fungus ( I forgot to prepare )

3rd ~ Blanch noodles (pan mein) in boiling water, then serve dry in bowl and scoop some soup in

Japanese Cold Soba Noodle


1st get ready 1 big bowl of ice + cold water
2nd Cook the soba noodle (about 3 mins) & put all in the ice bowl

3rd kacau a bit & leave it for a while
4th pour the water & topup more ice

5th ready others side ingredients -
seaweeds, green onion, Japanese soy sauce for noodle (must have)
ham / sausage / wasabi (optional)
6th mixed 3 tablespoon of soysauce + 2 tablespoon water + a little bit wasabi
then have some seaweeds, onion & others ..

7th take ur noodle
8th dip into sauce
aiyooyoo…enjoy lor……...wat a cold afternoon…
