Supplementary Food Chart For Baby
This is the same I gotta take out this chart & get ready for my Kiki to start her 1st solid food next month…haha
Below are the info I got when attend a public forum at bangsar Hospital 1 & half years ago..
Supplementary food for baby (FOR REVIEW ONLY)
Up to 6 months
Foods ~ Only breast milk / ff
Consistency ~ Fluid
6 months – 7 months
Foods ~ Rice, Fruit, Vegetable
Consistency ~ Sieved, mashed, pureed or liquidized
8 – 10 months
Foods ~ Meat, fish, egg york, other cereals and starch food like oats, corn and wheat
Consistancy ~ Chopped, coarse and finger foods
10 ~ 12 months
Foods ~ 1/3 egg white, bean curd, cheese
Consistancy ~ Chopped and minced family food.
Stir-fry Spicy Prawn
Ingredients
Red Chilies / Small Chilies (Chili Padi)
Garlie
Medium Prawn
Oyster Sauce
Chinese Celery

1st ~ Red Chilies & Garlie chop well..
(Forget about the ginger..hehe..I use for others dish..:p)

2nd ~ Cut chinese celery into 1 - 2 inch

3rd ~ Prawn after stir-fried in hot oil

4th ~ oil + garlie + chilies -> stri fry

5th ~ add in prawn & stir-fry for 2 mins


6th ~ Add some oyster sauce & continue stir-fry


7th ~ Finally stir with chinese celery

Spinach Tauhu Soup
Ingredients
Spinach
Century egg
Salted egg
Soft taufu
Black vinegar
Black sesame seeds/sesame oil
Chicken stock
Cornstarch
1st ~ cook spinach in boiled water for 1 or 2 mins
2nd ~ Century egg, salted egg (remember to cook 1st..
..) & tauhu cut into small cube.
3rd ~ Mixed cornstarch with water
4th ~ Boil water, then put in tauhu, follow by century & salted egg
5th ~ add spinach & cook for awhile, then add black vinegar & mixed cornstarch b4 serves
Finally add some black sesame seeds/sesame oil

Quite a long time I didn’t see this Pop Corn liao.. maybe I seldom eat junk food now??? haha..

anyway, when I show it I just can’t help to bought 1 and enjoy again…yummyumm..Durian taste good…But now cost RM1.50 liao..previously only RM0.10 (small pack) ler..

Sweet & Spicy Mackerel Egg (Fu Yu )



Homemake Chinese Rice Wine (Confinement Recipe)
Ingredients :
6 Kilo Glutinous Rice
18 pcs small wine biscuit (chao ban ??)
some water (about 150ml)

1st ~ Cook all the Glutinous Rice with rice cooker, we cook 3 - 4 time to finish whole 6 Kilo…(remember to cook at night, coz need to wait those rice getting cold)

2nd ~ Get ready the wine biscuit, compress into powder form…

3rd ~ Let all the cooked Glutinous Rice cold..have to cook it at night..
and let it overnight to make sure all of it have cool lor…
..if continue other steps by using the hot rice will cause the wine become sour …

4th ~ Next early morning, get ready the Ceramic Selinder (?) ..
and start with 1st layer of wine powder..

5TH ~ then, 1 layer of Glutinous Rice…

6th ~ cover with another layer of wine powder….




Repeat Step 4 & Step 5….until finished all the Glutinous Rice & wine powder..


7th ~ Finally Pour alittle bit of water on the top of those ingredients….
and Cover it nicely…

WARNING!! Keep it at Safety Place…and try to put alittle bit water in the big plate to avoid ants attack..
Note :
1) Pour 1 or 2 bottle of Rice Wine (bought from shop) into it on the 3rd day….to make it more ‘thick’ & tasty wor..
2) Homemade Chinese Rice Wine (米酒) will be ready after 20 days only….
3) With good result may produce 10 - 15 bottles (1 litre) sweet & tasty chinese rice wine..
p/s : According to old folks, Kenot make chinese rice wine on Chinese day No. 3, 6 & 9 (åˆä¸‰, å… & ä¹) …..They said these few days will cause no wine produced wan ..:)) ..don’t ask me why..coz I have not idea at all…:p

Mackerel Egg (Fu Yu)
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 kg mackerel
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
Pepper
Salt
1st ~ Beat egg with baking powder, salt & pepper
2nd ~ add in mackerel & mixing it
3rd ~ until all mixed well…like above pic… I suggest u using hand mixer …

4th ~ heat oil 5th ~ scoop 1 spoon & put into oil
6th ~ 1 scoop follow by other
7th ~ continue to fry the other side
8th ~ Fu Yu starting like blowing balloon..
9th ~ done when it become golden at both side
10th ~ Fu Yu starting to become narrow.. Isn’t it look funny? haha
11th ~ that is …
12nd ~ a close up pic… It look like dried tauhu but the taste r totally different.. much more delicious then tat.. My kids like to eat as snack…me too..
